Salary Scale: Grade 7, Points 27 – 30 £27,358 - £29,909
Actual Salary £19,369 - £21,175

Hours of Work: Mon – Friday 8.25am – 3.05pm daily (30.85hrs pw)
X 38 weeks plus 18hrs (Training days) 1190hrs pa. (70.8% FTE)

Due to the retirement of the current post holder and the needs of our expanding school, we are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for the beginning of the Autumn Term to lead on the provision for EAL learners, working with students and staff to develop skills and approaches of all. Candidates should have experience of working with young people, of supporting learners both new to and developing English, and/or hold appropriate qualifications. As a higher level post in school, we are looking for someone with confidence in this field and leadership skills.
